ACT and SAT Test Information
- ACT and SAT are standardized tests used for college admissions and many scholarships in the United States.
- One test is not better than the other. Students should take both tests starting in their junior year to determine which they prefer.
- Some vocational schools and technical colleges may require ACT/SAT scores.
- Students are responsible for researching their post-secondary options to determine which path is best suited to them.
- Students should review college/university websites to determine their admissions requirements including ACT/SAT scores and if the writing/essay section is required.
- ACT/SAT prep will be provided from 2:30-3:30 in the Lincoln Lab the week before each test, beginning with the September 14th ACT.
